Well the Cupset’s weekend as they called it started on Friday when Cambridge United held Manchester United to a stalemate. It was as embarrassing as it gets, as a multimillion pound team produced awful football with lack of creativity and chances.
United were given hard time on a number of occasions by the spirited performance of Cambridge’s players. It all ended as they have dreamed – a trip to Old Trafford and stories to tell for years. Can they now win the replay and create probably the biggest FA Cup shock for years?
For Manchester United the game is also not just business as usual, but another opportunity to impress and keep the run going. The win against Leicester was impressive as a result, but surely everyone expects more from the likes of Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao, Wayne Rooney and company. With Chelsea, Man. City and Tottenham early exits, United seem one of the favourites to win the Cup this year. The draw certainly seems favourable – with the winning team facing either Preston or Sheffield United, there seems to be a lot at stake.
Carrick’s injury is certainly a blow for United, while Ashley Young and Jonny Evans will miss the game with the trip to West Ham a possible return date.
Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie could be rested as Van Gaal will try to rotate his squad. Victor Valdes to make his senior debut as well.
Everyone is fit for the dreamed trip to Old Trafford for Cambridge. Luke Chadwick should make a return, to the ground where once there were whispers of him being the new David Beckham.

Expect this one to stay in the folklore of the Fa Cup- spirited performance from a low league minnows held billionaire Giants to a disappointing draw.
