Manchester United Football Club have several players who are out-of-contract at this season’s end. The most important player to tie down to a new deal? David de Gea.

Although the Spaniard’s current terms contains an option to extend his deal by a further year, that hasn’t stopped potential suitors sniffing around regarding his signature.

According to the Daily Mail, per The Metro, big-spending Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing a huge move for the 27-year-old goalkeeper…

Just when you think that the coast is clear as Real Madrid have finally found their #1, another club decides to join in on the race.

There is no doubting that moving to the French capital must be tempting. Trophies are pretty much a guarantee, and playing with the likes of Thiago Silva, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe must be an exciting prospect. They can also probably match whatever we’re offering in terms of weekly wage, too.

It’s now down to United to ensure this move doesn’t go through. Pay the man whatever he wants, get De Gea to commit his long-term future by giving him an offer that he simply cannot turn down. If there is any player within this squad that deserves a hefty pay-day, it’s him.
