Reliable source gives update on David de Gea’s proposed move to Real Madrid

Manchester United somehow manage to keep hold of David de Gea in the summer, largely thanks to some incompetent men in suits in Spain, and a dodgy fax machine. Yesterday Louis van Gaal was given another boost regarding the Spaniard, and it gets even better still today.

Madrid were handed a two-window transfer ban which starts this coming summer, which in turn led to reports that Real Madrid could in fact move for the 25-year old De Gea this January.

However, according to the reliable Guillem Balague of Sky Sports News, Real Madrid have no intentions of launching a bid for De Gea, or any other player this January.

This is huge news for United, as it means we’ll get to keep one of our top performers for another season, because he clearly only has eyes on moving to one club, and thats impossible until the summer of 2017.
