Manchester United Football Club are clearly busy in the transfer market, with Jose Mourinho already sealing a deal for Eric Bailly. That won’t be the only player coming through the Old Trafford entrance doors, and alongside that, we’ll be selling players too.
Today a shock rumour is coming out of Holland, and the usually reliable De Telegraaf media outlet. They claim that Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin is open to a move to Everton this summer – to link up with Ronald Koeman once again.
The 26-year-old moved to Manchester United last summer, and big things were expected of the Frenchman. However, that didn’t really happen, and his future certainly seems up in the air at the moment.
A move to Merseyside would certainly be a step down for Schneiderlin himself, but he had a fantastic relationship with Koeman during their time at Everton, so you can see why his head has been turned somewhat.
Hopefully, he’ll make the right decision and remain at Old Trafford beyond this summer, because I feel he’ll certainly have a massive part to play under the new regime.
