Manchester United have been brilliant to watch recently as the goals have continued to flow despite a huge injury crisis decimating the squad.
In his last two games Romelu Lukaku has been bang in form, sticking the ball in the back of the net four times to help United to six crucial points.
For whatever reason, the press have some sort of agenda against Rom, similar to how they always like to aim cheap jibes in Raheem Sterling’s direction.
Today, the latest word was that Lukaku and his pal Paul Pogba had a ‘bust-up’ over the injury time penalty that the Frenchman missed against Southampton.
Shortly after the article went live, it didn’t take Lukaku long to seemingly send a tweet back in the journalist’s direction, presumably claiming that the media outlet is telling lies…
It must be so frustrating if this isn’t true. The British press have apparently just fabricated a story to generate interest in their paper. That’s, quite simply, the lowest of the low.
There is absolutely no need to do it. It just means they’ll continue to lose credibility from here on out – and it goes without saying that Lukaku probably isn’t planning on doing any exclusives with them ever again…
