Ryan Giggs ready to end 29-year Manchester United career this summer

Ryan Giggs is a Manchester United legend, he loves this club just like every other fan on the planet – but now he is set to end a 29-year stay at Old Trafford. That’s according to the Daily Mirror, who say that the Welsh Wizard is after a new challenge.

The 42-year old returned from a family holiday in Dubai earlier this week, but it is believed he has been offered a ‘lesser role’ under Jose Mourinho.

Honestly, it’s a huge decision for him to walk away from Manchester United, but it feels like the best thing to do at this point in time.

He’s learnt all he can from Louis van Gaal and David Moyes in a coaching capacity, and the only way to further his career is by taking a job in the managerial hot-seat. It would be gutting to see him leave, but he has to put his career first.

You can also understand why Jose Mourinho wants to bring in his own backroom staff. Rui Faria has been alongside Jose for all of his career, so why should that change now.
