Ryan Giggs unhappy with Louis van Gaal over treatment of young star

Manchester United begrudgingly allowed James Wilson to leave the club on loan over the last week or so, with the striker finding minutes hard to come by at Old Trafford – largely due to the form of Anthony Martial who is leading the line superbly.

However Ryan Giggs isn’t happy with Louis van Gaal about the fact that Wilson has been allowed to leave, according to the usually reliable James Ducker of The Times.

Ducker begins by saying that Giggs is a ‘longstanding champion of James Wilson‘ and adding that “he hoped that Wilson would have played more than he has up to this point.”

Lets not forget that Ryan Giggs gave Wilson his senior debut in his interim period as Manchester United manager, and the striker repaid that faith in him by netting two goals.

Its clear that Louis van Gaal doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of faith in the 20-year old that Giggs does, which is obviously a shame. Its now up to the striker to prove his worth whilst on loan at Brighton, and come back hungrier and stronger.
