Manchester United Football Club decided to let one of their up and coming strikers leave Old Trafford permanently over the summer, when Will Keane (brother of Michael), headed to Hull City to link up with Mike Phelan once again.
Big things were once expected of the youngster from Stockport, but injuries seriously hampered his development whilst at the Theatre of Dreams.
That bad luck has struck again, and this time more devastating than ever before. The club have confirmed that the 23-year-old has suffered knee ligament damage, and will be out of action for up to a year.

What a huge shame for the United academy product, who won several titles at youth level under the watchful eye of Warren Joyce. It must have absolutely shattered his confidence, and it will be hard for him to come back from this.
He’s young, and we’ve barely seen him take to the football field because he’s constantly injured. It’s gutting, but you have to wonder if he is considering his future in football – because it may be his best option right now.
