I think it’s fair to say that there is more wrong than right at Manchester United at the moment. From top to bottom, the club really is struggling.
To his credit, though, that hasn’t stopped Jose Mourinho from putting in the effort and working hard to try and fix things. The latest issue he faces is finding another goal source other than Anthony Martial. The Frenchman cannot do it all on his own, and when Romelu Lukaku is struggling too, United’s frontline looks toothless at times…
Perhaps that explains a potential move for Gremio striker, Everton Soares. ESPN says that United are monitoring the 22-year-old ahead of a possible bid, while the Red Devils have also sent scouts to watch him in action.
Gremio value Everton at around the £30million mark which, all things considered, isn’t too bad in this day and age. It says a lot about his potential that Manchester City are also keen, and luckily for us, we’ve won that battle the last couple of times, with both Alexis Sanchez and Fred choosing Old Trafford over The Etihad.
Basically, I’d take anyone right now. Who knows if Everton is the answer? But at least we can say we tried. The lack of investment has been alarming over the summer, and the club needs to change that as soon as possible.
