Sergio Ramos to tell Madrid he wants Man Utd move this summer

Manchester United still need to sign at least one world class centre-back this summer, if they are to challenge for the Premier League crown this time around. One player who is supposedly at the top of Louis van Gaal’s wish list is Sergio Ramos.

Sergio Ramos would be an absolutely outstanding signing, and according to Sid Lowe, the Madrid centre-back will meet with Real Madrid senior officials to tell them he wants a move for Manchester United this summer.

Ramos, 29, would cost Manchester United an awful lot of money if Rafa Benitez does indeed allow him to leave the Bernabeu this summer, probably upwards of the £40million mark.

However the Spaniard knows that if Real Madrid reject all approaches for him, he will be forced to stay in the Spanish capital for at least another season – and possibly beyond.

Would Ramos be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
