Sir Alex Ferguson urged to return as Manchester United manager by current player

Manchester United fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with life under Louis van Gaal, and one current professional has tipped Sir Alex Ferguson to come back and manage at Old Trafford – Joey Barton. The 33-year old is currently playing his football fur Burnley in the Championship.

“I look at Sir Alex Ferguson and think, you might as well take the job, you’re at every game. I think he’d be quite good.” Joey Barton began.

As much as we’d all love him back, I don’t think Joey Barton is onto anything here. First of all, he isn’t at every game, and even if he was, managing just isn’t about being there come Saturday. Its the seven days a week of training, tactics and planning, and he obviously doesn’t play any part in that.

He still plays a big part at Manchester United, and he’ll certainly have a say on who the next manager will be. His influence at this club will live on forever.
