Sir Alex speaks about wrong managerial decision Jose Mourinho made

Manchester United Football Club have appointed Jose Mourinho as their manager, with the club going for the tried and tested coach, rather than somewhat of a gamble like Moyes was. Now, the hard work for him begins.

The best manager to ever grace the game in Sir Alex Ferguson has had his say on Mourinho’s appointment, and he reckons it is a good move that comes at the perfect time for all involved.

However, the Scot wasn’t overly convinced by Mourinho’s last job choice – a return to Chelsea. Fergie went on to add that it’s always difficult returning somewhere for a second stint.

“I think there will be a massive improvement.” Sir Alex told Sky Sports.

“I thought Jose was wrong to go back to Chelsea. I really do.”

“I think it’s always difficult going back somewhere for the second time.”

“But ability, charisma, personality, the success he’s had – he’s won the European Cup twice, with different clubs, the Europa with Porto.”

“League titles in all the teams he’s [managed].”

“His record, you can’t ignore that. and I think that Man United are the right kind of club for him.”

“I really do. I think we’ll do well.”

It really is a highly exciting time for Manchester United’s many fans all over the planet. Jose Mourinho is a huge name and a man that excites the crowd. On top of that, he is a born winner, and will go to any lengths to secure the three points.

He has already made some astute signings, bringing in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to be shortly confirmed. If he can add a couple more faces, we could well be challenging for major honours come May.
