Alexis Sanchez’s time at Manchester United has been a nightmare. The Chilean has struggled since day one and quite frankly, the piano playing upon his announcement was as good as it got.
The 30-year-old could well be set for a chance elsewhere, though, with Sky Sports Italy reporting that both Juventus and Inter Milan are showing an interest in signing Sanchez this summer.
First of all, I’m not sure why anyone would want to sign the United #7 because he’s been absolutely shocking. But, I guess you look at his time at Arsenal when he was amongst the best players in the country. That could potentially offer some hope to possible suitors.
Sanchez’s representatives have met with officials from both Juventus and Milan already, indicating to me that the attacker would like a fresh start in the Serie A.
My guess is that Sanchez will leave this summer, although United will have to either buy out his contract or subsidise his wages because nobody in their right mind will be wanting to match his huge weekly pay-packet.
Sometimes it just doesn’t work out for a player at a certain club. This, unfortunately is one of those times. No doubt, knowing United’s luck, Sanchez will leave and prove to the world that he’s still a top-class player…
