Manchester United’s injury struggles have been well documented of late, though over the international break, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did get a few players back.
However, the Baby Faced Assassin is still missing some key faces. A report from Sky Sports this evening claims that United have sent a duo to Dubai for some warm weather training as the pair look to step up their return from injury.
First up, we have Luke Shaw who has been suffering from a hamstring problem for two months now. The left-back started the season in pretty good form, but he has been missing for far longer than Solskjaer would have liked.
As for Nemanja Matic, he played in Holland when United drew 0-0 with AZ Alkmaar, though we haven’t seen him since and we’re not quite sure what the problem is.
This isn’t the first time United have sent a player to Dubai, with Paul Pogba doing likewise just before the international break. We’re yet to get the Frenchman back though you’d hope he’s not too far away from a return at this point.
Hopefully, Shaw and Matic benefit from being in the immense heat and this steps up their recovery. I’d like to think they’ll be back on the field soon…
