Manchester United have been largely inactive over the last two transfer windows, with it looking unlikely that they’ll do business as the current one winds down.
However, it looks as though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has some plans, though. According to Sky Sources, Manchester United are in talks with an unnamed Chinese club over the sale of Marouane Fellaini.
The 31-year-old has fallen out-of-favour since Jose Mourinho’s sacking and now the Red Devils are looking to sell him to the Chinese Super League on a permanent deal.
Thankfully, the Chinese transfer window doesn’t end until February comes to a close so it gives United more than a couple of days to get the deal done.
At this moment in time, it looks like Solskjaer can simply do no wrong. He’s been great on the pitch, while seemingly making all the correct decisions off it, too.
Hopefully, the deal is done as quickly as possible and for a decent transfer fee, too, given the fact that Fellaini only penned a contract extension over the summer. You do have to factor in his age, however, which could lower the eventual transfer fee somewhat…
