Jadon Sancho is the emerging star in world football at the moment. The young Englishman was let go by Manchester City a year or so ago, with Borussia Dortmund the beneficiary.
Now, the 18-year-old is tearing it up in German football. The interest in him is rising, with Manchester United amongst the teams who are keen on signing the attacker.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Dortmund aren’t planning on letting Sancho go anytime soon, in fact, BVB are ‘surprised’ to see English clubs and Paris Saint-Germain linked with a move for the teenager.
Over the last few weeks, Sancho has been impressing as a right-winger, which we all know is United’s biggest weakness in the team in an attacking capacity. Outside of Jesse Lingard, the club have no real specialist for the right-hand side which is extremely frustrating.
Sancho would be a wonderful addition. United have always been brilliant at developing young players, no doubt they’d play a similar role in turning the 18-year-old into a world-beater, but at this point, I just don’t see him leaving the situation that he finds himself in now.
Dortmund are playing him regularly, they’re sitting at the top of the Bundesliga table, while also earning his first England call-up he’s clearly loving life. Why would he swap that for anything at this current moment?
