Manchester United returned to winning ways this weekend, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continuing to bring the feel-good factor back to Old Trafford.
Next up is a tricky trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men battered us in the FA Cup just a fortnight ago but hopefully, the squad would have learned from their mistakes.
Before the Premier League encounter, Solskjaer has met the media and provided us with the all-important team news. Thankfully, it’s a massively positive update from the Baby Faced Assassin; with three recently players deemed fit.
“Anthony will be fine, he’s going to be okay,” Ole told ManUtd.com.
“Victor has had a good few days of training now so he’ll be ready. Apart from that, [Matteo] Darmian and Eric [Bailly] are still out. [Antonio] Valencia is still out and Alexis Sanchez is still out. But it’s a good strong squad.”
“Anthony and Romelu will both be ready for tomorrow, definitely, unless they break down in training today [Monday] but it looks good, yeah.”
I’d like to start with Victor Lindelof who is going through some personal issues recently. He has been our best centre-half this term so it’s good to have him back.
Then we have Romelu Lukaku who’s back to 100% following a international break in which he didn’t feature, while he was only a substitute for United’s game against Watford at the weekend.
Finally, match-winner Anthony Martial has been deemed ready to go. He had to be subbed off on Saturday but thankfully, it seems as though it was precautionary rather than a serious injury problem.
This is a massive, much-needed boost and hopefully, we’ll be celebrating a huge three points come full-time.
