Manchester United Football Club have been in superb form recently, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to deliver positive results.

The Reds are moving up the Premier League table, while still competing in both the FA Cup and Europa League. Maybe, just maybe, we have a chance at lifting silverware come May…

Injuries had started to ease up recently. Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have been the only long-term absentees over the last few weeks. However, the curse has seemingly struck once again…

While meeting the media yesterday evening, Solskjaer confirmed a blow as United star Anthony Martial will miss the LASK game with injury. He’s also a doubt for Spurs away this weekend will the Baby Faced Assassin ‘not sure’ if he’ll be available.

“Anthony hurt himself when he slid into a post so he’s not ready, hopefully, he’s ready for Sunday so but I’m not sure – he’s struggling a little bit.” Solskjaer told reporters, including The Guardian.

Martial has been in brilliant form this term. Sixteen goals, five assists in 34 appearances is putting the Frenchman on course for his best season in United colours. Both the #9 and Solskjaer deserve praise for that.

Hopefully, leaving him at home for United’s trip to Austria is more a precautionary measure than anything, perhaps it’s mind games from the Baby Faced Assassin ahead of a showdown with Jose Mourinho this weekend?

Anyway, the best thing for Martial to do now is rest up over the next 24 hours or so, and do all he can to be able to lead the line for our game in North London this weekend…
