Manchester United Football Club have been simply brilliant under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, despite the fact they dropped points last time out at home to Burnley.
Next up is a potentially tricky trip to Leicester City, who have been rather brilliant against the top-tier Premier League sides this season. The Foxes will fancy themselves at home against the Red Devils in what should well be an exciting fixture.
Before the game, United have been sweating on the fitness of both Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, and Solskjaer, during his pre-match presser, has given a hugely positive update on both.
“We’ve not had a proper session since the game, so hopefully both of them can get through that,” said Solskjaer, per ManUtd.com.
“I don’t think there’s anything with Paul. Anthony has done some rehab work, so he will try a session today, so I would imagine he would be available to be involved. He seemed happy yesterday.”
It looks as though Pogba is certainly fit and ready to go which is massive. We’re going to need him to be at his best if we want to scoop all three points here.
As for Martial, fresh off his new long-term contract, he doesn’t seem too far away from returning. Perhaps we can expect to see him on the bench with the possibility of using the Frenchman as a second-half substitute should United need a goal or two late on…
