Solskjaer’s Molde Are Crowned Champions, Again!

And Solskjaer has won it! His Molde side were crowned champions for the second consecutive season, also somewhat remarkably, only the second time in their 101 year history. Molde beat Honefoss 1-0, where both title rivals Rosenborg and Stromsgodset lost their games.

The United legend has been widely tipped to return to the club as manager one day and in his first managerial post with Molde, he is certainly doing his reputation the world of good. He clearly has the ability to be a top manager, however I don’t think he’ll be taking over as United boss any time soon, he turned down Aston Villa in the summer due to family reasons, and I’d expect he’d have to manage a club of a similar stature to Villa before he’s seriously considered for a job as big as the United one.

In his three years as a manager, Ole has guided his side to three league wins, two with Molde and one with United’s reserves. 20LEGEND!
