Manchester United have been dealt a cruel injury blow, with Paul Pogba going down with an apparent hamstring injury. The 24-year-old midfield star made a great start to the season, and although no official timeframe has been put on how long he’ll be out for yet, you’d imagine it’ll be a few weeks at least.
However, one pundit is yet to be convinced by Pogba’s talents. That man is Graeme Souness. The former player and manager has actually gone one further than that, by telling the world that he wants to see Pogba do what Marouane Fellaini does…
‘He’s a bit of a YouTuber. I want to see Paul Pogba do what Fellaini does.’ Souness is quoted as saying by The Metro.
Honestly, I’m a Fellaini fan but it’s just too far by saying that Pogba should do what the 6’5 Belgian international does. The pair are just a class apart. Pogba is one of the best players on the planet, and although Fellaini has proven his worth, he isn’t good enough to be starting every week for Manchester United.
I don’t get the media fascination with Pogba. Perhaps it’s the transfer fee that they have an issue with, but it seems like every week someone is taking a dig at him despite the fact that he is putting in some wonderful displays.
