Manchester United have been somewhat of a feeder club to Sunderland in recent seasons, with the likes of John O’Shea and Wesley Brown heading off to the Stadium of Light on permanent deals. There is also thought to be a deal in place for both Paddy McNair and Donald Love to join Moyes’ new club.
It looks as though the former Manchester United boss isn’t done there, though, and the Manchester Evening News say that David Moyes is now eyeing a move for Adnan Januzaj.
The Belgian burst onto the scene in dramatic fashion a few seasons ago, but didn’t really seem to ever have a chance under Louis van Gaal. Now, Mourinho doesn’t seem wholly convinced by Adnan Januzaj and a move away could be in his best interests.
It’s clear that Manchester United would prefer to let Januzaj leave on a loan deal rather than on a permanent basis, because the immense ability is there. He just needs the platform to play on a regular basis and hone those talents.
