Just a week after the widely publicised ‘Kick It Out’ campaign, a Chelsea fan at last nights match was stupid enough to aim a monkey gesture at Danny Welbeck. Chelsea fans really are the worst fans in the land, last week they threw bits of chairs at their own stewards and they also booed Rio Ferdinand because his brother was racially abused.

6,000 reds travelled to Stamford Bridge last night, and from the first minute till the last they never stopped singing. Some very creative banners were also taken along, with one reading ‘Referee, leader, legend’ and another reading ‘Chelsea: Standing up to racism since Sunday’.
