Manchester United confirmed that Patrice Evra had completed his move to Juventus earlier today, and shortly after that a heartfelt statement written by Patrice followed shortly after. In his eight year stay at Old Trafford, Evra won it all, including the sacred Champions League crown.

Manchester United have this afternoon confirmed that defender Patrice Evra has left the club and joined Italian side, Juventus. United had announced earlier in the summer that Evra had signed a further 1 year extension to his contract, but it is believed that the club had mearly activated a clause that allowed them extend his deal which was expiring.
Although Evra’s move to Juventus looks like it’ll be sealed today, Manchester United didn’t talk about the prospect of Arturo Vidal moving the other way whilst negotiations were taking place. This does seem quite bizarre, but maybe Manchester United simply aren’t interested in the Chilean star.

The 33-year old left-back didn’t have the best of seasons last year, but he’ll always be remembered as one of the Manchester United great fullbacks.
