According to The Guardian’s Jamie Jackson, Manchester United are prepared to break the British transfer record to bring Hummels to Old Trafford – eclipsing the £32million Manchester City spent on Eliquim Mangala.

Bayern Munich have made Ander Herrera one of their primary targets for the January transfer window, according to Sport1. Bayern are ready to use Xherdan Shaqiri as bait to persuade United into selling the Spaniard when the winter window opens in a couple of months time, but bizarrely, Sport1 reckon Bayern value Herrera at less than what United paid for him.
