Manchester United fans react to dismal Zlatan Ibrahimovic display against Hull City

Zlatan Ibrahimovic may well be our Swedish hero, but my he wasn’t great during the ninety minutes yesterday. The influential striker just looked off the pace from minute one for whatever reason, but that said, he wasn’t alone in that regard as the overall performance was pretty awful.

The 35-year-old is usually so reliable when it comes to those big moments. His game is based on holding the ball up and allowing runners beyond him, but when our main man is struggling to control the ball, it stops any attacking momentum we have.

On top of that, his finishing was unusually lacklustre, and on a good day he could’ve had a couple of goals to his name. To be fair, all players have poor days from time-to-time, and it wouldn’t be fair to criticise him too heavily, but at this point in the season, frustrations are obviously high.

Manchester United’s passionate fans took to Twitter regarding the club’s current top scorer, and it’s fair to say he came in for a fair bit of stick…
