Talented Man Utd 17-year old trains with first team for first time

Manchester United are a club renowned for progressing youngsters through the ranks and turning them into club legends that go onto play in front of the Old Trafford crowd for years. Today could be the first step in that journey for Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who trained with the first-team for the first time.

The 17-year old signed for Manchester United from Ajax in the summer, and has been thoroughly impressive for the youth side since the move.

He’s predominantly a centre-back, and given the opportunities for Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett, Fosu-Mensah must keep believing that his chance will come, possibly in the cup competitions next season.

Training with the senior players will definitely improve him as a player, and its great for him to get a feel for what top level football is like.
