Manchester United’s Regan Poole has finally been given the green light to play for the club, a whole five months after the transfer took place. The 17-year old made the move on September 1st, but today, he was eventually given international clearance.
This is great news for the young man, particularly after a dream move like coming to Old Trafford.
He can now participate for United in all competitive fixtures, including playing for the U21 side managed by Warren Joyce.
It’ll certainly be intriguing to see him in action for the first time, and Poole himself is clearly looking forward to the opportunity, after tweeting his delight at getting clearance earlier today.
United could eventually fork out £400,000 for the young man who came from Newport County, so they clearly think highly of the Welshman. Hopefully he can make a real name for himself in the U21s this season and really kick on from there.
