Manchester United Football Club take on Southampton this weekend, with Jose Mourinho looking to get the win and end Mark Hughes’ career on the South Coast.
Before the game, the usually reliable Samuel Luckhurst has given an early indication towards team news, and he seems to think that Marcus Rashford, not Romelu Lukaku will play through the middle, while Diogo Dalot could be given his debut as a starter, rather than off the substitutes bench.
Suggestion is Mourinho will stick by Marcus Rashford today. Diogo Dalot could also start, rather than make his league debut off the bench. #mufc

Rashford struggled massively against Young Boys. While the effort was there, and while he did get into goalscoring opportunities, the young man from Wythenshawe couldn’t finish his dinner. The energy and work ethic is probably what has kept him to stay in the team and rightly so. At this point in time, he’s offering far more than Romelu Lukaku is.
As for Dalot, this Premier League debut would have happened a fair while ago but-for injuries, I feel. The 19-year-old from Portugal has been super impressive in his two outings so far, and although this game will be a level up than the previous couple, I fully expect he’ll adapt and adjust immediately, and continue to show his excellent form.
