Three struggling Manchester United players who will flourish under Jose Mourinho

Manchester United fans will already be looking onwards with plenty of eagerness going into the 2016/17 season, with Jose Mourinho coming in. The Portuguese manager has plenty of work to do with a team low on confidence, so we’ve picked out some struggling players who’ll benefit from Jose.

Morgan Schneiderlin – The Frenchman has immense ability as we’ve seen at Southampton, but under Louis van Gaal you feel that has been limited. Mourinho loves a midfielder who’ll just sit in front of the back four and protect it, and there isn’t many better at that in the country than Morgan Schneiderlin.

Memphis Depay – Pace on the counter is another one of Jose’s big traits, and Memphis Depay has bundles of that. The Dutchman has been low on confidence this season, but under a manager who believes in him, he will thrive.

Ander Herrera – Everyone loves Herrera, he’s a real fan favourite. However this year he quite simply put hasn’t done enough. Mourinho likes hard-working players, and Herrera always looks lively. With United’s lack of mobility in the middle of the park, the Spaniard will certainly get his fair share of chances next term.
