Three youngsters Man Utd should give a chance to against Bournemouth tonight

Manchester United Football Club have to play one final Premier League fixture this term, in odd circumstances. Louis van Gaal’s men found their game against AFC Bournemouth postponed yesterday due to a bomb threat at Old Trafford, but with the FA Cup final looming, changes should be made.

Top four is out of reach now, so Louis van Gaal has to give this chance to the youngsters who have been knocking on the first-team door but have failed to break through so far. We’ve picked out three faces that we could well see involved.

Andreas Pereira – The Brazilian can count himself unlucky to not already be involved with the first-team this year. He has skills and talent in abundance, but for some reason Louis van Gaal doesn’t seem convinced.

There is only one way to find out, and thats by throwing him in the side in a Premier League game just to see exactly what he is capable of – there is no time like the present.

Sam Johnstone – The goalkeeper is supremely talented, but obviously won’t surpass David de Gea in between the sticks any time soon. He more than deserves a chance to show what he can do though after being so consistent in the U21s side.

Now is the best opportunity for him too, and I couldn’t think of anything worse than David de Gea picking up an injury tomorrow night.

James Weir – United’s midfield has been struggling recently, so bringing in some new blood may be the answer. James Weir has been on the bench a couple of times, but now its time for him to get his first Premier League start.

The attacking midfielder could bring an awful lot to an immobile middle of the park, and he clearly has the confidence to come right in and really impress. Louis van Gaal obviously sees a future for the young man here, and there is no time like the present.
