Tom Lawrence leaves Manchester United on permanent deal

Manchester United starlet Tom Lawrence has left Manchester United for Leicester City. The Welshman has signed a four-year contract with the Foxes, in a deal thought to be worth a mere £1million. The 20-year old made his United debut at the back end of last season in a 2-0 win at home to Hull City.

Its disappointing to see Lawrence go, but he himself has admitted that he needs regular game time to develop as a player; Something he wasn’t going to get at Manchester United this season.

All the best, Tom!

Lawrence joins a whole host of former United graduates at Leicester, including Danny Drinkwater, Ritchie De Laet and Matty James.

Is it a mistake letting Lawrence go for such a small fee? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
