Transfer Talk: Manchester United want Pogba for £60m

Manchester United have been told that ex-Red Paul Pogba will cost £60million if they want to bring him back to Old Trafford, claims Daniel Taylor of the Guardian. United infamously lost Pogba on a free in 2012, and since then the French midfielder has established himself as one of the hottest prospects in world football.

The Observer claim that United are targeting £30m rated Kevin Strootman as a January transfer, but also Paul Pogba this summer. According to his agent, Mino Raiola, Pogba is happy in Turin but the 21-year old would be a open to a return to Manchester.

What isn’t set in stone yet is Van Gaal’s opinion on Pogba. If you believe reports then the Dutch boss hasn’t been keen on the likes of Fabregas, Kroos, Schweinsteiger and other targets United look set to miss out on; and its hard to see Van Gaal taking a liking to someone as petulant as Pogba.
