Transfer Talk: United to miss out on Reus as he agrees Barca deal

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Manchester United are set to miss out the signature of Marco Reus – who has reportedly agreed a deal to join Barcelona. The fee is believed to be around the £28million mark, and this will undoubtedly be a huge blow to Manchester United’s hopes of bringing in a marquee signing.

Reus, 25, is regarded as one of the hottest properties in European football at the moment after having another excellent season. Marco Reus is a boyhood Dortmund fan and came through their academy before leaving to attain regular first-team football, before eventually being bought back by Dortmund back in 2012.

The German star has recently been ruled out of the World Cup after suffering an ankle injury in a friendly game on friday night.

Just how big of a blow would missing out on Reus be for Manchester United? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
