Two Manchester United players set for their debuts?

David Moyes will probably be looking to shuffle the pack when United take on Crystal Palace on Saturday, as the Champions League starts up next week and the Scot will be looking to make a flying start in Europe. Both Wilfried Zaha and Marouane Fellaini will be in Moyes’ thoughts as both could potentially make their Manchester United bow.

For Zaha the situation could be quite tricky, Palace are his former side and he was at the club for over ten years before making the move down to Manchester. He earned Palace their promotion to the Premier League almost single-handedly in the Championship play-offs, scoring two goals and winning the penalty in the play-off final. He’ll have a lot of affection for the side that made him the player he is today, and if his mind isn’t right Moyes certainly won’t risk him.

Zaha impressed immensely during pre-season, and many fans would’ve expected him to have featured for United at some point so far but that hasn’t happened yet. David Moyes has trusted the experienced players in the squad such as Giggs and Valencia, but as the new boss settles into the role he’ll be looking to experiment more.

After featuring for his native Belgium a week ago, Marouane Fellaini looks a certainty to make his debut this weekend. He worked under David Moyes for five years at Everton and the Scot will know his game inside-out. Fellaini probably won’t be thrown straight into the deep end in the Champions League on Tuesday, so he’ll be looking to get his minutes against Ian Holloway’s side tomorrow.

  1. experiment??????? bwhahahaahhahhaha…………there will be no zaha or kagawa this season…none of the youngsters we hear about but never see until they leave because 38 and 40 year old men keep getting picked…trust me its giggs and wellbeck all season………..as moyes repeats sir alexs only mistakes and magnifies them….please giggsy..retire…PLEASE!!!…….ur manager isnt strong enough to drop u……….and wellbeck…..there is a career on blackpool beach for you giving children rides on ur back……..just try not to miss them as they drop on ur back……….the team selection against liverpool said it all……..NEGATIVE NEGATIVE NEGATIVE…same tired formation selections etc that have cost us in recent years in big games……..

  2. I do not care what anyone says George is right Giggs needs to retire and Welbeck is not united quality he is trash now when guys like Januzaj and Kagawa want out do not blame them at all remember Pogba he left for a reason now we got a manager who wastes 28 mil to bring his former boy around for what so we can loose better players like cleverly while he plays wow Moyes do not have a clue on who he needs to sign and to prove my case we could have got Thiago or Ozil but the manger never put any effort in those guys but went all out and overpaid for a player who is not worth it why u think Everton is happy do the math people we all love united but with Moyes we need to forget our winning ways until he is gone and please play Kagawa or let him go we want to see his talent on a regular

  3. If I we’re moyesy I’d try experimenting welbeck as a winger. Speed trickery strength but lacks composure as an out and out striker. My team 4231 Rafael. Jones. Vidic. Evra. Carrick felliani zaha Rooney kagawa rvp. Get rid of young Anderson play hernandez more
