Two Reds set for new contracts?

Moyes still hasn’t made any inbound transfers as of yet, but according to different sources both Nani and Adnan Januzaj are set for new Manchester United deals this week. The latter impressed in the first game of the tour, where the former has often been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

According to The Guardian, United are close to agreeing a new contract with Januzaj, who is attracting interest from both Barcelona and Juventus. The club need to ensure we don’t lose out on another talented youngster, and tying him down to a long term contract would be the perfect way to keep hold of him.

After his standout performance against the Singha All-Stars, Moyes said:

“If he continues to play like that, he’ll get more chances.”

Goal.com are claiming that David Moyes will keep hold of the hit and miss winger Nani, and he’ll be handed a contract extension as a show of confidence from the new boss. Nani himself is apparently delighted by the show of confidence from the new boss, and hopes to re-establish himself in the United starting XI.
