United draw Stoke away in the Capital One Cup

United have been drawn against Stoke City in the quarter-final of the Capital One Cup. The tie will take place away from home, and the winner will go into the New Year with a two-legged semi-final to look forward to. United beat Stoke 3-2 at Old Trafford last weekend, and will be looking for similar success in the cup competition.

United have overcome Liverpool and Norwich 1-0 and 4-0 respectively to get to this stage, whereas Stoke have overcome Walsall, Tranmere and Birmingham.

United will get an increased allocation with it being a cup competition, so around 6,000 rounds will make the trip to Stoke on a cold wednesday night on the week commencing 16th December.
