United prepare to break club record fee for Cesc

According to a few of the English papers, including the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are prepared to break their transfer fee record by bidding £35million for Cesc Fabregas. Offers of £26million and £30million have already been knocked back by the Catalan side.

Although the club have confirmed they aren’t prepared to sell Fabregas on numerous occasions, United must be getting some feeling that they still have a chance to sign the 26-year old. The player himself is yet to speak publicly about his future, and maybe thats what it’ll take to ward United off.

Moyes still hasn’t added to the first-team squad as of yet, and the Community Shield is now less than two weeks away so he better act fast…
