Van Gaal unhappy with these two Man Utd players after Everton loss

Manchester United were awful in their 3-0 loss away at Goodison this weekend, as a four-year wait for a goal on the blue half of Merseyside goes on. As you’d imagine, Van Gaal was unhappy afterwards, and particular criticism was directed at this duo.

According to The Mirror, the Iron Tulip wasn’t best pleased with Daley Blind and Antonio Valencia.

Blind looked to bottle out of a tackle which led McCarthy through on goal in the early stages, with Antonio Valencia having and extremely poor game both offensively and defensively.

Van Gaal wasn’t happy with their tactical naivety and awful defensive displays, and the duo probably won’t be involved in the game on Saturday.

With Michael Carrick set to return, Blind will probably have to sit this one out, and Antonio Valencia may well be dropped in favour of Rafael, giving the Brazilian one last chance to impress Louis van Gaal.
