Manchester United had an excellent second half of last season, and a lot of that was down to the goal threat that Marcus Rashford provided from February onwards. The young man has been nothing short of outstanding since bursting onto the scene, and it truly has been a privilege watching him play.
The start of this season has seen the 18-year-old handed his first tough period as Jose Mourinho hasn’t been starting him – but so far he has passed every test thrown at him with flying colours.
He scored for United in the 92nd minute to give us all three points away at Hull City, and now the striker has found the back of the net on his England U21 debut with a nice bit of individual brilliance.
His pace really makes this goal, and his sensational first touch certainly helps him along the way. Once he’s got open grass ahead of him, he’s always going to be tough to beat and that is the case once again here.
