Without Paul Pogba, things were always going to be much tougher for Manchester United. After all, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the Frenchman is the Red Devils’ best player – at least talent-wise.
Well yesterday, the 26-year-old midfielder took to his Instagram Stories to give us all an insight as to how his injury is progressing – and it’s good news.
As you can see from the short video below, Pogba looked absolutely delighted as the #6 finally had the cast on his ankle removed, as the United star looks to kickstart his season after almost a couple of months out of action.
In terms of timeframe, Pogba will now have two weeks of rehabilitation before returning to training – which is timely given the fact that we’re now in the international break.
Theoretically, Pogba could be back in the AON Training Complex with his teammates just one day after United play Sheffield United away – giving us a huge boost ahead of some key winter fixtures against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
In Pogba’s absence, others have certainly stepped up. Scott McTominay (although he’s now injured) has been sensational while over the last fortnight, Fred has kicked it up a notch.
Having Pogba back only aids United. Hopefully, he can hit the ground running and show the world just how talented he truly is.
