VINE: Manchester United starlet scores direct from corner in U21s game

Manchester United’s U21s played their first game of the calendar year last night, and 2016 started off with a win for Warren Joyce’s side, as they won 3-1  against Tottenham. The star of the show without question was Andreas Pereira, who’ll be hoping to get involved against Sheffield United this weekend.

He scored two goals that sealed the victory, and his first is certainly one to remember for the 20-year old Brazilian, as he placed the ball into the far corner direct from a corner kick.

Many will say that he didn’t mean the amazing feat, but just a few minutes earlier he tried something similar and it almost went in then, so I’d beg to differ.

Pereira is certainly the standout star in our academy at the moment, and if he continues to develop this rapidly, we could well have a star on our hands in the not too distant future.
