Manchester United’s move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been a long, drawn-out process. But today’s the day!
According to Sky Sports News, Wan-Bissaka has completed his Red Devils medical and the formal announcement is expected to take place today.
The fee to sign the 21-year-old totals £50million, with £45million being paid up front while another £5million can be achieved in various add-ons and bonuses.
Wan-Bissaka flew to Manchester on Wednesday evening, before having the first part of his medical that night. His tests were finished on Thursday and no doubt the final details of his moved were ironed out – as the club gears up to announce their second signing of the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally got his man, with Wan-Bissaka now in line to be United’s fifth-most expensive signing of all time, behind Pogba, Lukaku, Di Maria and Fred…
United have craved a top-quality right-back for years now. The last time we had someone reliable in that area of the field was probably Rafael, but even the loveable Brazilian had his moments.
I’m just delighted that Wan-Bissaka has been brought in. This young man has the potential to be our right-sided defender for the next decade and I simply cannot wait to see him in action.
