Player Ratings: West Ham 1-2 Manchester United

David de Gea – Made a brilliant save from a West Ham corner, and some stunning saves in the closing moments of the game. 7/10

Tim Fosu-Mensah – What an outstanding talent this lad us. Absolutely unreal performance once again both in a defensive and attacking sense. 8/10

Chris Smalling – Dealt with Andy Carroll superbly despite one lapse in concentration. 7/10

Daley Blind – Played well, and got United moving forward. 6/10

Marcos Rojo – Poor. Got caught out far too often. 5/10

Michael Carrick – Had plenty of space but you expect a player of his quality to do more with it. 6/10

Marouane Fellaini – Brilliant performance from the big Belgian, and capped it off with the most Fellaini type goal. 7/10

Ander Herrera – Wasn’t his best night but he always brings a bit of pace and purpose to our midfield. 5/10

Jesse Lingard – Threatened on numerous occasions but that final ball or shot at goal is often lacking, despite so much promise. 5/10

Anthony Martial – Perhaps one of his quieter nights, but still tried to have a go at a fragile West Ham defence, and managed two assists. 6/10

Marcus Rashford – Plenty of pace and took his goal wonderfully. What a talent. 7/10

Subs:

Antonio Valencia – Did well at right-back.

Morgan Schneiderlin – Mopped things up well.

Wayne Rooney – Nice to see him back.
