Alex Telles is here, now, another defender has been added. This time, it’s Willy Kambwala, who signs for Man United on a permanent transfer from FC Sochaux.
Just like buses, you wait ages for a signing and two come at once! Telles is the marquee addition, though Kambwala is an excellent coup by the Old Trafford club.
The Red Devils confirmed the signing of the talented defender via their official website, with a photo of Kambwala, all-smiles donning the United kit, surfacing not too long after.

United interest in Kambwala dates back at least a few months, when an initial offer of £1m was made for the centre-half.
Well, the 20-time Premier League champions left it late, but they eventually get their man. Kambwala will now undertake a period of self-isolation, before joining up with the U18s squad at Old Trafford.
Kambwala comes here with real pedigree, having already played at U19 level for his club, having captained France’s U17s.
No doubt he cannot wait to get started, with United giving Kambwala a real opportunity to further his development.
The young centre-half joins the likes of Hannibal Mejbri, James Garner, Ethan Laird, Tengi Mengi and many others looking to make their first-team breakthroughs.
Sure, it’ll be at least a year before Kambwala is involved. However, if we actually have a pre-season tour next summer, maybe, just maybe, we’ll get our first glimpse of the highly-rated Frenchman.
Welcome to the madness, Willy!
