World class player seals new £91million contract to see off Manchester United interest

Manchester United Football Club are always trying to lure the best players in the world to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho having pretty much an bottomless pit of money at his disposal. One man who has been linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams is Gareth Bale.

It was common knowledge that United were desperate to sign the Welshman during the summer he moved to Real Madrid, but he obviously preferred that move abroad instead of staying in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Express, United are still interested in signing the 27-year-old, but that move won’t happen right now as he is about to put pen to paper on a new £91million contract.

I’ve always felt that Gareth Bale would end up a Manchester United player at some point during his career, but it doesn’t look like this will be the case anytime soon – particularly if he pens this new long-term deal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
