Manchester United are reportedly chasing the signature of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the influential Swede looking likely to make the move. However, according to The Guardian, the 34-year old still has one condition that he wants to be cleared up before the deal is done.
They say that Ibrahimovic wants to meet with Jose Mourinho to discuss what role he will have in the side. It is thought that the forward wants assurances that he will have a key part to play, before putting pen to paper.
The Guardian also add that personal terms have already been agreed, with Ibrahimovic believed to be earning £220,000-a-week for the duration of his one-year deal.
I’m sure these talks won’t be an issue. Jose Mourinho obviously wants Zlatan Ibrahimovic to come in and be that first-choice striker who guarantees goals. Not only that, his sheer presence on the pitch will inspire his teammates, and striker fear into the opponents.
