Manchester United Football Club are sitting pretty at the top of their Champions League group right now, thanks to two excellent wins. The latter of those victories was a 4-1 drubbing of CSKA Moscow away from home, a game in which a certain Frenchman starred.
Anthony Martial was a thorn in the side of the Russian team since minute one, and for the best part of an hour, he absolutely terrorised their back four.
Statistically, Martial was superb. He picked up two assists and scored a goal of his own before being substituted. On top of that, he created five opportunities for his teammates showing just how good he is in that regard.

Martial is just a phenomenal player, that’s all there is to say on the matter. It’s great to see him performing at the same level (if not better) that he was at in his debut season with the Red Devils.
Mourinho has him putting in some stunning performances down that left-hand side, and the scary thing is that he’s just going to keep on improving. Martial is forming an excellent bond with Romelu Lukaku up top, and the pair would frighten any defensive line in world football.
