David de Gea – Had a fairly quiet afternoon. Not much he could do about Swansea’s consolation. 6/10
Ashley Young – Played out of position at right-back and did the best he could in a bad situation. 5/10
Phil Jones – Nice to see him back, and played pretty good considering he hasn’t played for us since January. 6/10
Marcos Rojo – You feel he is a disaster waiting to happen, but did alright. 6/10
Matteo Darmian – Played left-back, and always seems to do better there than on the right-hand side. 6/10
Michael Carrick – What a player. Protected the back four wonderfully and picked the right pass more often than not. 8/10
Marouane Fellaini – Not bad, but didn’t really stand out. Just kept things ticking. 6/10
Paul Pogba – Top performance capped off with a wonderful strike in the first half. Things seem to be clicking into place for our Frenchman. 7/10
Juan Mata – Stuck back out wide where he is always less productive. Did well though. 6/10
Wayne Rooney – He was great, and picked up three assists. Controlled the game well. 7/10
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Back to his brilliant best. Held the ball up excellently and scored two great goals. Sadly, picked up a yellow card and will miss Arsenal at home. 8/10
Subs:
Jesse Lingard – Not enough time to mark.
Morgan Schneiderlin – Not enough time to mark.
Tim Fosu-Mensah – Not enough time to mark.
