4-2-3-1: Man Utd XI vs Liverpool – Fellaini starts in midfield

Manchester United take on their fiercest of rivals this weekend, with Louis van Gaal’s side heading to Merseyside, to take on Jurgen Klopp’s rejuvenated Liverpool side. Ahead of the game, our gaffer has injury blows aplenty to deal with.

Wayne Rooney will obviously lead the line after a fantastic performance last time around, and he’ll be backed up by Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard on the wings. Under Herrera will play in the #10 role.

With Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick injured, that means we’ll almost certainly see Morgan Schneiderlin and Marouane Fellaini continue in the middle of the park.

Ashley Young will have to start at left-back, with Matteo Darmian on the right-hand side. Chris Smalling and Daley Blind will play at the heart of defence, with David de Gea continuing in goal.
